This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse organisation and bring management experience to a high volume MRI Department. The purpose of this role is to oversee the organisation, planning and management of the delivery of a comprehensive and effective MRI service ensuring that the company meets all legislative requirements, including the Infection Control and Health and Safety, along with the development of both the centre and staff within them.

Responsibilities:
• Initiating and maintaining clinical and administrative procedures in line with agreed policies and procedures.
• Making management and clinical decisions for the MRI Unit on a day to day basis.
• Review personal development and CPD.
• Ensuring compliance with MHRA guidance for MR equipment as per local and company guidelines.
• To work alongside the Operations Manager in setting and delivering operational budgets – having responsibility as the functional budget holder for the unit.


Requirements:
• Hold a DCR (R) or BSc in Radiography.
• Have a strong clinical background, be flexible, have problem solving abilities and will be commercial and decisive.
• The ability to build relationships at a senior level both internally and externally is essential.
