Job Code :	Social Care Worker	Social Care Worker Our Client a voluntary organisation providing services to children and adults with learning disabilities offering respite and day opportunities currently have a unique opportunity for a Social care Worker to join their team. Responsibilities: To learn from, listen to, support and enable service users realise their goals and achieve their identified priorities. To support and advocate for participation and inclusion in the community and to achieve full participation. Assume responsibility for the service in the absence of the line manager, or while on duty as required. Operate within the framework of a person centred approach and to actively engage in and promote co-operation and partnership with other services, both internally and externally and in particular with families. Qualification required from one of the following: • 3rd level in Applied Social Studies (Disability) • Nursing i.e RNMH & SRN • Teaching In addition • Previous experience working within a similar environment • Flexibility in working hours required • Clean Driving license is desirable Salary is based on the scales applicable to the Department of Health & Children For more detailed job description please apply below.
