Job Code :	Breast Superintendent Radiographer/Manager	The successful candidate will be a clinical Mammographer who will be able to demonstrate leadership and be responsible for managing the Radiographic Team for the South East London Breast Screening Programme (SELBSP). They must have a good working knowledge of Mammographic techniques and procedures and be able to adapt the service to respond to long and short-term demands. They will also ensure the daily workload is organised in line with clinical priorities. They will be responsible for rearranging work lists in case of equipment failure and being responsive to the inconvenience caused to patients by short notice cancellation of appointments The job holder will have an in depth knowledge of the workings of a Breast Screening and Symptomatic Service. They must show evidence of participating in a multidisciplinary team and the management of staff within that environment. Demonstration of an understanding of performance management systems and managing a budget Able to present information effectively and produce management reports. The candidate will hold a BSc in Radiography (or equivalent). Health Professions Council (HPC) Registration. Recognised Post Graduate Award in Mammography. Post graduate Masters qualification in Radiography or equivalent experience. A Postgraduate Health Management qualification would be an advantage.
