Zest Clinical Recruitment is currently offering an excellent opportunity for a Medical Doctor to become a Clinical Research Physician. This CRO is a leading provider of Musculoskeletal Research and has enjoyed rapid growth.
The Ideal candidate MUST have:
• Full GMC Registration. (Essential)
• Full right to work in the UK. (Essential)
• A minimum of two years post graduate UK EXPERIENCE. (Vital)
The successful candidate must ideally come from one of these specialties:
• Musculoskeletal
• Orthopedics
• Oncology
• Pediatrics
• Pain Management
• Radiology
You must also have:
• Demonstrable knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and relevant regulatory requirements;
• A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical/CRO industry, including current trends and events and how these might impact upon and be leveraged by SCRF;
• Excellent verbal communication skills, the ability to network effectively, and strong track record of influencing and commanding the confidence of stakeholders at all levels; fluency in spoken and written English;
• Strong organisational skills combined with attention to detail as well as the overview; a focus on improving efficiency levels and quality of patient care, plus experience of developing effective standard operating processes and procedures;
• A pro-active, highly motivated professional able to function in a pressurised and demanding environment and able to effectively handle numerous tasks and projects simultaneously;
• The ability to make objective, defensible decisions consulting others when appropriate;
• The ability to work both independently and also as a strong team player;
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office;
• Willingness to travel as needed; from time to time this may include travel overseas.
Equipment and Materials Used:
The physician will be required to use clinical equipment such as ECG and EEG monitors, sphygmomanometer and stethoscope, crash cart, oxygen cylinders and miscellaneous equipment such as pumps, needles, syringes and gloves. The unit is also equipped with items normally found in this type of clinical setting such as ice machines, fridges and freezers and centrifuges.
Materials used may include laboratory supplies, IV therapy supplies and emergency medications.
The unit also includes the usual office equipment such as phones, fax machines, computers and photocopiers.
