Reporting to Sales and Marketing Director

Generics

Sales support
• Produce accurate sales figure reports on a weekly basis.
• Monitor competitor pricing/schemes and drug tariff pricing ensuring communication of the findings to the sales team.
• Attend and keep minutes at monthly key account meetings.
• Create ‘in house’ support materials, e.g. leave pieces, company information details aids and sales presentations.
• Source appropriate suppliers and agencies.
• Create and adhere to budgets for marketing campaigns.
• Monitor trade press for relevant articles/information

NHS
• Monitor new tenders, sourcing all those relevant to the business
• Manage the completion of tenders.
• Maintain accurate records of current tenders/contracts and expired contracts.
• Communication of new contracts to the Operations team.
• Liaise with operations team when any queries concerning contracts arise.

Other

• Manage and organise company and corporate events.
• Number 2 in the PV team to answer any med info queries and report ADR’s.
• Administer PIP Codes and product price lists.


Aloclair

• Compile the annual marketing plan and develop campaigns.
• Manage the marketing budget.
• Manage brand guidelines for the product, including packaging design.
• Utlise the full marketing mix to promote the product and prolong the product life cycle adhering to brand guidelines.
• Support the current product placements in Boots, Lloyds, Independent Wholesalers and dental dealers through marketing activity and developing good working relationships.
• Increase sales through current outlets by increasing customer awareness.
• Identify market opportunities, ensuring correct positioning the product within the market.
• Liaise with generic and dental sales team to utlise sales resources and maximise customer contacts.
• Monitor sales, reporting progress to the management team on a regular basis.
• Take responsibility for pricing and promotional offers subject to agreement with management.
• Develop relationships with Key opinion leaders.
• Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns taking results onboard to improve future activities.
• Develop and maintain a suitable website.
• Maintain effective PR activities and campaigns.
• Write copy for all consumer communications and obtain suitable sign-off’s from management.
• Liaise with operations team to administer forecasting and stock ordering.
• Liaise with the manufacturer regarding marketing initiatives, stock and any other relevant issues.


Dental – PerioChip, Sensitrol

• Administer the annual marketing plan for PerioChip and Sensitrol in the UK.
• Manage the product life cycle.
• Develop campaigns and promotional programmes ensuring buy in from all relevant stakeholders.
• Train sales team on new campaigns and provide day to day contact for queries.
• Write copy for literature, PR and editorial articles subject to agreement with management.
• Work with agencies to develop suitable designs for advertising and literature.
• Build good relationships with press contacts to facilitate placements of adverts and PR.
• Create direct mailing campaigns both through email and post.
• Monitor competitors and market trends, through trade magazine monitoring, website research and close contact with sales teams.
• Develop and maintain up to date and accurate literature.
• Create a system to monitor the literature stock.
• Create relevant promotional items for reps to help call levels and raise awareness of the products.
• Plan, organise and attend large scale national exhibitions and conferences.
• Check sales reps mailings and provide them with necessary raw data for them to administer the mailing.
